Since 2013 this awesome TV station has helped children develop musical talent and many of these music videos are fantastic!
Some of these kids like Adela Bors and Kamelia Melnic have become International Super Stars at only nine years old!
Open YouTube and type in Adela Bors - "Wishlist" which is in English and is a blast! Then try Kamelia Melnic - "Bloody Mary" from Lady Gaga with her accent I think she sings it far better than Lady Gaga.Wow! Truly Awesome! Empowered girls of all races from all over the world. A lot about what an Android Smartphone can do not much about how to make it do it.
I did take her advise about using only the charger that came with my phone. The main text was a comfortable readable text size though sans serif so it needed the extra size. The figure boxes however contained microscopic text that could not be read without the aide of a magnifying glass.A lot about what an Android Smartphone can do not much about how to make it do it.

A cross between Wild Wild West and Ghost Busters in the form of a gushy Romance novel. Lots of historical figures so not quite a historical novel not quite a western not quite a horror novel not quite a romance.

Not really what comic book readers want.
If you want a book to read with the kids you will be better off with a children's book.

One of the reasons I was so opposed to STEM was because it didn't teach history. It looks like they do teach some after all.

He was a traitor to his class(the 1% rich uppercrust) but the internment of the west coast Japanese which included many born United States citizens remains one the United States' most blantant Human Rights violations of all times.

I thought this book was about a woman prospector in the California gold rush with high adventure. But it is full of lots of interpersonal perspective and doesn't stick to the story. I think you could call Isabel Allende the Latinx Jane Austin.

Fasinating subject but the author's longwinded excessively wordy writing style made it nearly unreadable. The same information could have been conveyd with about a third of the words. This is the writing style that makes me so dislike The New York Times. Oh I see now Jeremy is a SCREENWRITER so that's why there is so much talking in this. The stories are not all connected as suggested by the opening events.
The art work is really well done. The drawing of Animal Girl who I assume is Animal Man's daughter is very good she is drawn so well she took my breath away she is so beautiful.
I'm going to be looking for more of Animal girl.
My five STAR is for the artwork the story writing is not so great.Oh I see now Jeremy is a SCREENWRITER so that's why there is so much talking in this. The stories are not all connected as suggested by the opening events.

I had thought this was a novel and didn't realize it was non-fiction until about the fourth chapter. I can't see why this book is in such big demand I just read a great book that is much better and there is no demand for it at all. Chalk it up to publicity I guess, it's not how good your book is it's how much press it gets.
I had read an excellent fictionalized version of Commodore Anson's mission by Patrick O'Brian years before and don't recall any mention of Cheap or the Wager but it must have said something about it. Grann's description of Anson's battle is sketchy O'Brian's version is much better.
Through out the book Grann keeps mentioning that the crews consist of men and boys. Unfortunately he is not courageous enough to speculate about the probable sexual abuse of the boys.I had thought this was a novel and didn't realize it was non-fiction until about the fourth chapter. A very good history of the civil war artist. This was the first war that was photographed but although they had cameras and took photos on glass plates photo-engraving had not yet been invented for pictures to be mass produced they had to be engraved by hand even if it was from a photograph. Cameras were huge and photos had to be developed immediately in developing wagons.
The hand drawing artist was the best way to get images to the public.

This started out as a pretty good book. "The terrified stewardess was shaking so bad that the jello on the plate she held in her hand jiggled". Perfect for adaptation for a movie. Then suddenly right in the middle of the action the author suddenly drops the dramatic description and launches into a liberal social justice tirade! What the????
