Original family-friendly comedy movie released in the mid-1970's. Freaky Friday story was later redone by Disney with contemporary actors.

Comment
Add a Comment🎞 This is one movie that could use a remake, if it was R-rated.
The "Citizen Kane" of body switching movies. Remade with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
This was my moms favorite movie when she was a kid, and when the new one came out we watched it together. Both movies are so great!
Jodie Foster's best original Disney picture that she gave a great performance in. Barbara Harris was great also.
Rated 4/10. This comes across as quite dated. Doesn't stand up well in the test of time.
For adults this original version is a glance back at 1970's family life with a wonderful modern twist. A young Jodie Foster realizes that the father she idolizes is a bit of a "male chauvinist" when it comes to his everday treatment of her mother. The gags in this movie are so good that my 12 year old son thought this movie was "hilarious" and really enjoyable. Still a great family movie for all ages.
