This is a book where you'll want to browse, pick and compare formulas, but not try everything in there. There are formulas that are safe, and then there are also those that use the controversial borax, which is a banned food additive in the US, even though it is still widely used in Asia in the production of processed foods. It's something that I try to avoid, because skin absorbs, and I prefer not to use questionable ingredients directly on my skin. As long as you are smart and know your ingredients, this will be worth a casual browse. It's not a very thick book, so you'll skim through it pretty fast.
