Careless in Red
A Novel
Book - 2008
Scotland Yard's Thomas Lynley discovers the body of a young man who appears to have fallen to his death. The closest town, better known for its tourists and its surfing than its intrigue, seems an unlikely place for murder. However, it soon becomes apparent that a clever killer is indeed at work, and this time Lynley is not a detective but a witness and possibly a suspect.

Add a CommentShe is one of my all time favorite Authors, I was surprised that I couldn't get the hang of this book. Read half of it & still didn't know what was going on? I may try again at a later date, perhaps my brain will be able to grasp it then :)
I enjoyed this book much more than her last in this series. I think she returned to her former style of solving mysteries with lots of characters that could be guilty.
Loved it. Thought it was one of her best.
To many unnecessary words & to many characters. Read about half the book & then skipped to various parts and read the last 20 or so pages.
Liked the writer's style, but too long winded. Didn't finish book.
