Add a CommentNo subtitles but plenty of local dialect accents that are pretty much lost on me. By the end of disk one I was tired of watching the character smoke--especially as he does it with so much affectation. By the end of disk two, I was ready for something--anything--interesting to happen. At the end of disk three, I gave up. Owen EMOTES, the woman desperate to "fast-track" is wooden, and the rest of the police are just jerks (or you know that seven-letter word that starts with A) both to each other and to the "new girl." The last two disks might have been better, but I'll never know.
Enjoyed this series a great deal. Great plots. Good acting. I wish they would have kept Tully in the story until the end. It lost some important chemistry when she left.
Really well done, very entertaining.A total of 5 discs, and I enjoyed every one.
The Brits have some wonderful writers, and of course excellent actors.
