Beth "Bee" Evans' first vow as a bride is that everyone on her list be invited to bring a guest to her lavish Chesapeake Bay nuptials. When Hannah, Vicki, Rob, Joe, and Nancy one by one decline Bee's generous offer, the frustrated bride dubs them the "Singles," adrift on her seating chart as well as in life. The motivations - from bad breakups to career crises to misplaced nostalgia - behind their collective decision set in motion a rollicking, romantic, reflective tale of adulthood, with all its promise and heartbreak. Alone together, the "Singles" take their next precarious yet inspiring steps along life's unpredictable path.

Told from multiple perspectives, but all of the narrators showed up for the wedding alone, despite the bride's instructions. A quick, fun read.

Easy reading. Five people's perspective of attending a wedding. Some get drunk. Some have a one night stand. Some get a chance at romance. If you are like me, you find weddings to be really long and boring anyhow.
