This movie is good!

I put off watching this until now because I knew that it couldn't possibly come close to the original Muppet Movies and the ones that followed. I was right, but only partially right. I really enjoyed it and I loved that it has all of the original Muppets and pays homage to the original movie and to the classic Muppet Show. There were some pretty funny moments but some obnoxiously silly ones as well. I liked the cameos of Jim Parsons, Selena Gomez and Neil Patrick Harris, but I would have liked to have seen some of the stars from the original movie, like Steve Martin. Really enjoyed the musical numbers. I'm glad that this was better than I had anticipated.

I saw a lot of old muppets movies and shows before this one. While it doesn't come anywhere close, I was surprised it was this good. 6/10 Stars for a "ehhh" reboot.

A fun and uplifting way to spend a couple of hours. Enjoy the music. Enjoy the story. Enjoy the positive messages about friendship and family. Or just enjoy spotting all the celebrities in cameo roles!

The Muppet's is a hilarious and loveable film whose targeted audience may be children yet appeals to all ages. The film’s humour is not very childish or immature as many other children’s films would have you think because much of it is breaking the fourth wall, which is incredibly funny and clever, and the comedy is spontaneous and random, making the movie all the more fun. It is a musical; however, the songs contribute to the humour in the film, and do not consist of deep, emotional ballads that seem out of place in the movie. The music keeps the film upbeat as well, and the cast does an excellent job of delivering the lines and songs in a funny way without making the cringe-full songs sound...cringey. Along with breaking the fourth wall, The Muppet's sees other unexpected twists that add more depth, and obviously humour, to what would seem like a stereotypical and cliché film. The sets for The Muppet's stage are gorgeous, the story is sweet and touching, and it’s very fun to see so many celebrities make cameos and appearances throughout the film. Overall, The Muppet's is a must-see movie, no matter how old you are. 5/5 stars. @demi.god.on.a.mission of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board

They're back with a twist - the biggest Muppet's fan tries to save the original Muppet's franchise from being overthrown, and does it musically. This movie is reminiscent of the ways of the old Muppet movies; there is adventure and emotion and big name cameos as well. What stuck to me most about this movie is how genuine the Muppet characters are made to be, each with their unique personality, still true to themselves in this 2012 movie.

Surprisingly good - and the music - written by one of the guys from Flight of the Conchords, is great. One of the few songs with musical numbers that I can stand, much less enjoy.

Hilariousness abounds in this Muppets movie! I actually saw Muppets: Most Wanted first, but then came back to watch most of this movie. It was cute and funny and full of Muppets, as it should be. I will say that I easily liked Muppets: Most Wanted better: it had a stronger villain, a more interesting plot, and more laugh-out-loud moments than this one. But still, a fun movie the family should enjoy. I swear, the "Am I a Muppet or a Man?" scene is legit the funniest and weirdest part of the entire movie. XP

Disney is not always so great at doing movies. I grew up with the Muppets and I love the Muppets but the guy and girl roles I am not sure about . The kids will enjoy it and most adults out there as well. I just wasn't fully into it the way I thought I would be. I guess I could try again.

Walter, a Muppet, lives with his human brother Gary in Smalltown. They became Muppet fans when they watched The Muppet Show in their youth. Gary plans a vacation to Los Angeles with his girlfriend Mary to celebrate their tenth anniversary, inviting Walter along so he can tour the Muppet Studios. Mary feels that Gary's devotion to Walter is detracting from their relationship.
In Los Angeles, the three visit the abandoned Muppet studio. During the tour, Walter sneaks into Kermit the Frog's office and discovers Statler and Waldorf selling the theater to Tex Richman, an oil magnate, and his henchmen Bobo the Bear and Uncle Deadly. Waldorf explains that if the Muppets can raise $10 million they can repurchase the theater. Walter overhears Richman revealing his plans to destroy the Muppet Theater and drill for oil underneath, and later warns Gary and Mary about Richman's intentions
