It's about a cat that is singing everywhere and walking in his red school shoes. I like it because it is so cool.

One of my favorites for outreach storytimes or guest reading to younger elementary school aged kids. It's all good.
I would recommend reading some other pet the cat books first before introducing this one as it is less repetitive than its predecessors.I read this to my older preschool class and they liked that they could recognize where pete was and that it had similarities to the earlier books.

It was a good book because it was funny.
I like his shoes when it's in different colours.
My kids loved the book, along with the songs and reading from the website!
great book, my kids are in love with pete the cat, we all read it together its just awsome
