Having played Resident Evil 0 before, I was curious to see how a novelization of this game could be written. It's a shorter story, so it was a fast and easy read. Zero Hour follows the plot of the game almost exactly (leaving out enemies and puzzles that don't contribute to the story). Perry adds in scenes and changes some dialogue to help the story flow better (I thought that the extra parts with Birkin and Wesker were the most interesting). I also thought that these additional scenes helped the story make more sense, and they cleared up some of the more confusing parts of the game.
I would add that I thought it was a little disappointing that all the characters swore constantly throughout the novel. There wasn't much of that in the game.
Overall, though, I thought S.D. Perry made this tie-in work, so it was an interesting read.

First thing's first... I'm a realist. No. Joking.
I am a huge Resident Evil fan (not of the crappy live-action movies but I'm a fan of the games and the CGI movies[so hyped for RE Vendetta!!!!!!]). This book is based off the game Resident Evil 0, the prologue to the first RE game. I haven't played RE 0 yet so I can't really compair how close the book and game are but this is still a great read for anyone who doesn't want to spend the gald and pay for the game (or don't have space on their PS4 like I do).
I, however, do not like how Wesker is potrayed (and if he's like that in the game then I still don't like it). He says somethings that the great, handsome, and powerful Albert Wesker, god of us all (so joking about the god thing), wouldn't say, like "Go for gold, baby". Wesker wouldn't say 'baby' (I'd like if he called me that and Complete Global Saturated X-3...........*so not fangirling/nosebleeding!LOL!)!
Anyway, an awesome book and a must read for anyone who'd like to start off at the very begining of the RE story. And it's the 20th anniversary of Resident Evil this year so it's a great time to get started in this amazing series that is my favourite game series of all time.RE4 is my favourite game of all time so go pick that up when it comes out on this gene consoles in fall.I'm getting on PS4 and I'm so hyped(as Pat from New Super Best Friends would say "It's so hyped, dude!")!

Complete Global Saturation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
