Once I started watching this season I was hooked and this has become one of my favorite shows. I loved the humor, the romance, and the characters of this show. It has become one of my favorite feel-good shows of all time.
This season is really where Parks and Rec really hits its stride. Please do not give up on it after the first season (it is still trying to find its groove at that point). The characters are all hilarious in different ways. The style is very similar to The Office, but our protagonist, Leslie, is less awkward than Michael Scott. If you are a fan of The Office, you should definitely check it out.
This is a feel-good show with goofy humor, a little bit of romance, and a quirky bunch of characters whom you will grow to love dearly over the run of the show. It has a similar feel & format to "The Office" but it's more upbeat - watch Parks & Rec when you need to lift your spirits. Skip Season One - the show really comes into its own with this sophomore season.
This is a very good comedy tv series. Modeled after, and done pretty much exactly like, The Office. If you liked The Office, you'll like this. Quite a bit of laugh out loud moments. I actually enjoyed the second season more than the first and plan to watch them all. Funny dialogue and situations. A bit of romance and dramatic moments thrown in, but nothing too serious.
