Comment
Add a CommentAmerican Horror Story Asylum is by-far the best season in the show. Asylum centres on a catholic mental asylum which experiments on its patients. This season mainly follows Lana Winters who is entered into the asylum after trying to expose it. The story branches off by introducing “Bloody Face” who is a serial killer in the town. As the title reads, this was my absolute favourite season of American Horror Story. It had the perfect mix of comedy, horror, thriller, and even some singing. Sister Jude (Jessica Lange) was a perfect fit for this show, and Pepper is completely unforgettable! The plot twists are completely unexpected, and this show constantly kept me at the edge of my seat. American Horror Story Asylum deserves a 5/5 rating! @UniquePerspective of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
You can't trust people who look holy. They have demonic side to them. These hospitals and asylums are not to be trusted by the hands of others. Once you go inside, you may never come out alive. Don't trust anybody in your care, even your own family and friends. Caretakers and nurses as well as doctors abuse their authorities and don't really do good jobs. Trust nobody and you'll be alright.
I couldn't watch the 4th disk. My machine told me it was missing some kind of information. Better luck to you.
Solid season of AHS! I enjoyed the whole crazy season!
I like how there are homosexual characters and the setting of this season is really cool! I was absorbed right away!
A killer who skins his victims for masks, demonic possession, alien abduction, a possibly ex-Nazi doctor whose “experiments” roam in the forest outside, a homicidal Santa, the Angel of Death, and a swinging dance number. Watching American Horror Story “Asylum” is a bit like watching an acrobat juggling a machete, a chainsaw, a bowling ball and a flaming torch all at once. You’re part thrilled by the audacity, part terrified that something will drop, and part awed by the sheer talent to even attempt something like this.
It can’t work, it shouldn’t work, yet somehow it does, mostly because the writers, cast and crew emulate the tension filled restraint, dry humor, and stylistic stamp of Alfred Hitchcock; I half expected the rotund director to make one of his famous cameos. They use some of his favorite themes too, like “the innocent man mistakenly pursued by villains” (North By Northwest), “Caught up in mysterious conspiracy” (The Man Who Knew Too Much) and of course, the MacGuffin. It may be too much for some folks, but true horror fans (like those who can recognize the musical theme from “Carrie”) will savor it like dark, bitter chocolate.
Cant wait for this one! Really hope it gets returned soon! Pleeeeese!
How did I wait until now to watch this. It had just about every subject you can think of except 'Nam. The last episode is 42 mins of the best TV ever produce. No idea why Peters, Rabe, Chloe and many others didn't get library links on the description. No spoilers from me!
where do you find this movie in the library
The best of the lot so far, including the recently completed "Coven", this series has it all and then some! Touching all of the elements and usual plot developments in the horror genre with spine-chilling, uneasifying results. Everyone/thing is here: Conniving priests, callous nunnery, nazi doctors, overly ambitious reporters, little green men from outer space and much, much more, including an ending you will not see coming, at least I didn't. Top notch performances by everyone and a dance production of Shirley Ellis' "The Name Game" which will blow your mind!
