'You probably think we're just an urban spy myth, like jet packs and invisibility suits...and you assume, like everyone else, that the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women is just a snooty boarding school for bored heiresses with no place else to go. Well, to tell you the truth, we're fine with that.' But, despite all appearances, the Gallagher Academy is anything but ordinary. Sure, it looks normal from the outside, until you run into the electric fences and stun guns...and that's only on the driveway. No, the Gallagher Academy is, in reality, a school for spies, where girls train for years to become some of the best spies the world has ever known. Cameron Morgan, a sophomore at the academy, thinks her life is pretty sweet. She's a spy in training, her mom is the headmistress, she shares a room with her two best friends in the world, and she just started Covert Operations class with a new and mysterious teacher. And then everything changes when Cammie meets Josh. No, she's not supposed to meet him. No, she's not supposed to talk to civilians on a co-ops mission. And no, she's most definitely not supposed to fake a whole other life, including being homeschooled for religious reasons and having a cat names Suzie. But Cammie does all of this - and more. After all, how bad can sneaking out every few nights to see a cute boy be? Well, she's about to find out. This is an AMAZING book. I don't normally like romance or anything, but this is seriously amazing. Think whole days that you can only talk in French, people walking around with rappelling lines in their cufflinks, and a Covert Operations teacher who occasionally abducts some of his students(for the sake of the class, of course). It's like a cross between James Bond, Johnny English, and...I don't know, a well-written romance novel? Except waaay less sappy? Read it. NOW.
