The book "The Fall of Five" is the climax of the entire Lorien Legacies series, as the carnage and battles really start heating up, along with betrayal and twists at every corner. The plot of this book is extremely emotional especially to those who are big fans of the series. My eyes watered reacting to the betrayal and major failures throughout the book, and I feel like the author has done an amazing job creating and balancing out all the ups and downs for the characters on both sides. For the Garde, they experience a small period of time where they can just be teenagers together, acting as such and taking a break for the war. But that soon all ends by deception from others, making for a twist you'll never see coming. It's those abrupt and unforeseen events that keep you invested in the book the whole way through. What also caught and kept my attention was the vast amount of legacies introduced, especially the ones Five possesses. He has overwhelming power with his legacies, and it just makes me really appreciate how the author can just come up with so many creative and unique legacies. @ShepReads of the Teen Review Board at the Hamilton Public Library
